A big Happy birthday to Miku this is her 5th since launch, well five years ago.
Here is the CM that Hatsune Miku did for family mart and the outtakes that follow. It would Seem that Miku is also launching a limited edition instant Yakisoba meal, with extra leeks. Family Mart in the past has partnered with Miku to brand all sorts of cool snacks. LERAN MORE HERE
For those who don’t understand any of this Family Mart is like a 7-11, its a quick mart, sadly found only in Japan. Quick marts are very popular in Japan and feature a large variety of foods and pre-cooked meals. The special Yakisoba is due in part to the 5th anniversary of Miku and her Birthday on Aug 31st.

I’m really happy to see that SEGA really listened to the community for song selection, as the lineup has gone from good to great! Also Miku and the others wardrobe has expanded even more, traditional dress, Phantasy Star Online 2 armor, goth garbs, swimwear and more. I’ve also heard some mostly confirmed rumors that Miku and the crew will be working with Sega more in the future to put on more digital concerts in various online games, Phantasy Star Universe 2 being the most obvious as the lobby already has stages setup for concerts. Sega has also been hosting design contests for loading screens and costumes of various types. Sega community team is really doing a good job.
It’s a golden day indeed when a large media outlet gets it right about Miku. Many large media outlets here in the United Free Lands of America Lands muck it up so often and the general local media here have a stigma about anime or anything different for that matter. Often this misunderstanding and the clear lack of research leads them to fear or spread misinformation about Miku (vocaloids) and what\who she is.
This article found HERE on the LA Times Mag website is very sharp, accurate and fair. One of the best articles I’ve read about vocaloids outside of a hardcore vocaloid communities. Props to writer Margaret Wappler for this great article.
I saw this review and Just had to share it with you. This Figure comes in two different variants this is the cheaper of the two but it’s still an amazing figure. You can buy it for about $130 retail if you can find one, it’s getting hard to find. Check out this Link HERE for the review. Found a few on Amazon, better act fast if you want it. This figure is stunning, Good Smile Company delivered big time on this figure.
